Nano2Life Business Day and Nanomed 2006 in Berlin

Berlin/Germany, Nov 18th, 2005. The aim of the Nano2Life (N2L) business day is to bring together companies with an interest in the nano-bio sector which already have or wish to gain an international perspective. Therefore a close cooperation with the nanomedicine workshop NanoMed is evident. The agenda of the NanoMed includes plenary talks on recent developments in the NanoBio sector, companies` presentations and information on the regulations, funding and investments in Nanomedicine. In addition to the workshop there is a possibility for one to one meetings between the different participants based on pre-arranged expressions of interest. The participants in this focused event are expected to be representatives of companies and research organisations from the respective sectors from Germany and other European countries.

The N2L Network acts as an European nanobio think tank supporting a strong exchange of knowledge, ideas and vision among its members through the incubation of joint research projects; the networking of intellectual and technical resources; new education and training courses and the transferring of technology. Its objective is to support Europe’s position as a competitive player and to make it a leader in nanobiotechnology transfer by merging existing European expertise and knowledge in the field of Nanobiotechnology. Founded in 2004, N2L comprises 23 major European organizations and 41 industrial companies within the field of Nanobiotechnology as well as associate members from EU candidate countries, South Korea, Japan, Australia and North America.
