Nano2Life Business Day in Athens

Athens/Greece, Oct 4th, 2005. The aim of this advanced workshop / meeting is to bring together companies with an interest in the nano-bio sector which also have or wish to gain an international perspective.
During the same day and prior to the public sessions all the Greek companies which recently formed or have expressed their interest to join the Hellenic Biotechnology Club will have the opportunity to discuss their further activities and initiatives.

The agenda includes plenary talks on recent developments in the NanoBio sector, companies`presentations and information on the funding of innovative technologies. In addition there is a possibility for one to one meetings between the different participants based on pre-arranged expressions of interest.
The participants in this focused event are expected to be representatives of companies and research organisations from the respective sectors from Greece and other European countries.

Nano2Life (N2L) is the first European Network of Excellence in nanobiotechnology supported by the European Commission under the 6th Framework Programme. Its objective is to keep Europe as a competitive partner and to make it a leader in nanobiotechnology transfer by merging existing European expertise and knowledge in the field of nanobiotechnology. Founded in 2004, N2L will run for over four years, comprises 23 significant European players in the nanobiotechnology field, as well as industrial companies and associate members from EU candidate countries, South Korea, Japan, Australia and North America.
